I would hold on Duclair and Buchnevich if the return is Nash.
You should be able to get more back with that IMO.
Nash is clearly on the decline and he is not the answer for you.
Duclair could quite possible match Nash's output next year.
what does he have left in the tank..
I've been hunting for an additional lw, and have been offered nash , but the other owner wants duclair and buchnevich...I'm willing to let buch go but i think duclair is too much..is it?

Nash is a better nhl player than a fantasy player. in fantasy hockey I think that's too much to pay.

Another voice to add to keeping Duclair over Nash.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I'd definitely keep what you have. Duclair and Buchnevich are two really good prospects and Nash is only getting older. Duclair and Buchnevich have much higher ceilings and better futures than Nash at this stage in his career
Nash, one season removed from potting 40+ plants. Duclair sporting a 17% shooting percentage on 123 shots. Buchnevich now seemingly blocked for a roster spot at the Garden.
I think its a question of where ones team is the pecking order.
Building for tomorrow ? keep the kids
Competing now ? this isn't the worst deal I've heard.
You could probably counter with asking something else to "balance" out the deal like a pick.
If my team were going for it, I would pay the price and look to deal with the consequences later.
From what I have seen, Nash has not lost a step. He was injured, which is something that he has suffered from quite often since coming to NY.
So in short, Duclair could quite likely increase his point totals, but perhaps by doubling his shot totals which is more than reasonable. Buck could find himself punching a ticket for Hartford in the AHL, while Nash will either
1. Line up on the top line with top PP duties, take a ton of shots and have a legit shot at another 40 goal season
2. Be traded somewhere he wants to go due to his NTC, which should in theory light a fire
Nash is also younger that Spezza for example, and I have not really heard people saying he is in decline. While he might very well be, its not part of the conversation right to my knowledge. Its about how many points he is going produce.
Either way its your call.
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
Buchnevich & something small for Nash might get it done. I would try that.

If this league counted shots then Nash wins but as of right now I see him at 60-65. I'm not sure I agree Duclair hits that this coming season but I also have to believe that Duclair would attract a more 'solid' investment
Experience is the teacher of all things.
