A Flyers fan putting Provorov on the block? I'd be interested if I didn't have a D plan in place already.

Probably going to be mobile drafting from my brother's Junior game, so if I miss a pick, take it easy on me. Good luck guys

Going into this draft tonight mostly blind and also distracted. Did some draft prep on my laptop but forgot it at home when I left for the weekend. Won't be home to get it, so my picks may take a little longer than usual.

    How ready is everyone else?

drafted in the RHRS last night so I am more then ready or maybe I am wiped out. Not sure if drafting that one the day before helps out wears a guy out.

Same boat as PenguinHunter. RHRS draft went late too so I'm pretty tired. Going to try not to drink too many beer watching the Pats game. Feeling pretty confident though, I've got a pretty good idea of who should be available for my first 7 or 8 picks and a decent strategy in place. Going to be relying on my keepers this year though given what's available

I had one less draft pick than I thought, so I didn't fill out my second goalie slot. Will get to that off the WW since I can toss Barkov on there for now.

Solid draft all in all, a little more focus on youth than I was expecting, but still generally as planned.

Looks like I raised some eyebrows with the first overall pick. Didn't want to chance missing out on McAvoy. He'll be apart of a solid top pairing for me with OEL moving forward.

I thought the McAvoy pick was a reach for sure but given the emphasis on youth in this draft, he probably wouldn't have lasted outside the second (or even first) round anyway.

I hope it pans out for you man... truly... but that's the Bruins fan in me speaking

Just a short declaration here: I'm an idiot!

Being in Europe, this draft was at the odd hours for me (something I've always been aware of, of course). But I didn't realize until very late, it was the same weekend as my friends wedding... I came home at 5 am Sunday morning, didn't get much sleep during the day, but was still dedicated to get up at 2 am for this draft. Needless to say, my alarm clock isn't powerful enough to wake a tired dad only 2 hours after he went to bed. Oh god, you should see me Monday morning. As if I wasn't grumpy enough at this point of the week. My wife and daughters still make fun of me (they didn't believe I'm crazy enough to draft at 2 am on Monday morning anyway). I hate autodrafts! I never do that... Goddamnit!

Well, well... only yesterday evening I found the courage to check what Yahoo gave me. As if my keepers weren't poor enough. Well, F'it! I'll have to figure it out somehow. I already got some trade offers, my apologies for not answering yet, guys. I first need to think of what to do with this team, before I start to deal my core players. I'm not going to give up this easily!

Sounds like you had a good time, but paid for it in more than just a hangover. Lots of strategy in a pool like this, so there's lots of room to climb back up!
