2016/17 Rocky Horror Roto Show

Here we go, the sixth Rocky Horror Roto Show is nearly upon us. Here are the settings:

We welcome three additions to our group: Atomic Wedgy and PenguinHunter, for the first time, and Maaaasquito, who's been with us before! It's great to have you on board!

The live draft is set for Friday, October 7th at 8pm Eastern.

The draft order has been randomised in advance and is as follows (will add team names as they are updated):

I look forward to using this thread as a basis of many discussions and updates. We'll post the draft results for all to praise and ridicule.

However, main league issues are to remain on the league board.

WOOHOO!!! Been waiting all morning for this thread! This is like the official start to the countdown to Christmas (aka Draft Day).

Welcome aboard Atomic Wedgy and congrats on the first overall pick. Welcome pack Maaaaaa! Damn this league just got even tougher!

I think last year I was at 9 or 10... with temek at 12.

Impressive that he won last year with a draft out of the turn.

In seriousness, this is actually one of my favourite drafting positions "just off the turn".
One the front end, I plan for "what does TURN-GUY want" and take that guy...
On the way back, BPA.

There's a smidge of value to being able to plan/think in this regard.

Looking forward to my fave 1-year league with best group of GMs on the planet!

You definitely have a great spot. I'd prefer to be a little closer to the turn than I am for the reasons you guys have outlined. I like having you between my pick and temek's though. Especially since I know you will never scoop my goalie from me hehehe. YzermansLegacy and Chili Con Carne will be a little harder to peg though

A bit higher than last year, should be an interesting draft for sure. Have to admit, the first thing that jumped out was temek on the turn again and Pengwin right next to him.

Well... I got my top 14 player list made... the quality drops off a cliff after that...

My list is also 14 players long. I figure I will wing it after that.

[Chili con Carne]

I am really not sure how this will go - having the #10 and #15 picks opens up a world of possibilities, although a lot will depend on what happens through the first 9 picks. I am not displeased with my 6th place finish last year but learned a lot through last year's draft and have my sights set on the podium.
