getting Keller at #10 and then flipping him for Kyle Connor is amazing. Connor would be ranked somewhere around #5, so that's great value.
    second THAT..great job there

If there are players from this year's Entry Draft that you like better than someone on my list feel free to talk them up.

Have a top group of forwards already picked for the top 7:

Top 7 look decent but i would put Dubois last.

    Matthews
    Laine
    Puljujarvi
    DuBois
    Tkachuk
    Keller
    Alex Nylander

Need some input from you guys regarding the 8-20ish spots among this herd:

Schmaltz, Aho and C Brown top 3 for me

    Aho
    Reway
    Nick Paul
    Jost
    Sprong
    Logan Brown
    Barbashev
    Connor Brown
    Hawryluk
    Schmaltz
    Labanc
    Dickinson
    McLeod
    Tufte
    Bellows

Also, have short list for D:

My fav category: Chabot then Sergachev.....Juolevi....Zaitsev.....Pokka....Lind ell....then Graves. However I have a feeling Forsling is available and would put him 3-4th.

    Chabot
    Zaitsev
    Juolevi
    Lindell
    Sergachev
    Pokka
    Ryan Graves

And, of course a few G:

    Gillies is my best guess

    Anton Forsberg
    Stolarz
    Hellberg
    Gillies
    Sorokin
    Lars Johansson
    Wedgewood

We'll see when Keller starts playing against big boys (Saturday night- BU v PEI exhibition gets it started!) For NHL translation purposes, I'm most interested to see how he performs against teams like Providence and Lowell; great system defense typically manned by older, stronger players.

I watched them both play live a fair amount last year. I thought Keller had another level of vision and creativity that Connor lacked. Comparisons to Goudreau, Kane, and Marner are apt.

Thanks to all of you for your helpful input. My prospect draft haul ended up as follows:

    Laine
Keller--then traded him during draft for Kyle Connor
    Sorokin
    Lindell
    Zaitsev

Also traded Vesey for Matt Barzal just before the draft. I am quite happy with this offseason's work. REP sent.

That's good asset management to cover the squad imo. Curious to see how the draft overall looked and if those were your targets, or you got scooped before your picks and adjusted on the fly

All five players were targets for me. Keller fell to pick #10, was happy to scoop him, even happier when the Connor deal popped up immediately after. Wanted Sorokin in Round 2 and got him there. Scooped (IMO) Lindell and Zaitsev at the end of the draft, was very happy that they slid, but wasnt surprised because D seem to be undervalued every year in our draft. Sergachev was only D selected in Round 1, by Habs homer in my league.

Amazing work. I also like both trades for you.
