I think Eberle gets more points... but I like the saving $2million as I don't think he scores $2million worth of more points.
However, I am not liking how often JVR seems to be injured.
I just made this deal to get some cap room for the draft mainly, but wondering how the expert folks out there would feel about this cage match? They are purely for scoring/PPP.
Obviously I like JVR's game and since Leafs are so shallow in scoring depth, I am hoping he can break out with AM now by his side.
Eberle could be a monster with a full season with Conner but I could not resist saving $2M cap space. Thanks in advance.

Eberle for me, full year with McDavid is too hard to pass up. Potentially 65 points this year

Eberle might not have the upside everyone hoped for but there's lots of decent players who can become great players when put with elite talent. If Ebs can hold onto the top line spot he could flirt with 70 points. JVR should be good for 50+ but not sure how much more
JVR's biggest issue is health... If he is fit for a whole season then the cap difference makes it worthwhile... Unfortunately he won't so depends if you can save the money elswhere whether I make this deal
Experience is the teacher of all things.
Ya that's a concern as he is def certified bandaid boy I believe. I am not convinced Ederle plays all the time with Conner but pretty sure jvr gets lion share of time with AM.
Also since I am a homer leaf fan I had to have at least one leaf, yes that's a bad attitude for fantasy hockey but what's a guy to do?

I don't like Eberle's shoulder problem either from this past year.
I'll go with the cheaper option in JVR.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I like JVR as well. Also, I don't get the band-aid boy thing.
JVR has had 5 very healthy seasons out of 7. He's had two 40 game seasons due to injury: 2011 and 2015. Otherwise, he's pretty durable.
