Dangit! I was trying to buy him based on the expectation that he was going to miss part of the season.. now the price likely just went up.

This is good new for the Panthers, as long as they don't rush him back and he re-injures himself (ala Price)

I would still want to handcuff Luongo with Reimer. It seems to me that you don't want to bank on a 37 year old goalie coming off of major surgery that has a highly paid, competent backup waiting in the wings.
