Question: do you honestly believe Niederreiter will make much of a difference in your performance this year? Is he going to put you over the top? And have you shopped Keller to see what else is out there?

Two solid prospects and a first overall pick is the kind of return you give to a rebuilding team in return for one of their top players.

With multi cat leagues, you can't just win 1 or two categories every week. You can punt one or two categories (I always punt +/-) and then you have to be trying to win the rest of them. Nino helps you win only one category. He makes a good complimentary piece, but is not someone to overpay for. The player you could get for that return, will help you win a lot more categores.

That's a really bad offer.

Even in multicat leagues, points should drive the bus. In your league, almost all of the skater cats are scoring related (g,a,pts,ppp,shp,gwg). The peripheral stats, in this case hits, are bonuses for point getters, but can be made up more easily off of the waiver wire with specialists, ie. Matt Martin for hits.

That's one of the worst offers I have seen so far this year. And you are going to keep getting them over and over because you are a trade addict who has no self-control. Your entire league views you the way a pride of lions see a wounded wildebeest on the savanna. Soon the carcass of your team will be picked clean of all useful morsels and your bleached skeleton will serve as a cautionary tale for fantasy players here who fail to amend their ways.
