Dallas' new look blueline will overcome a shaky start and by Christmas will have gelled to the point that their play will make Kari and Antti look merely bad instead of horror show bad.

    Is that bold or delusional?

    1. The three Calder finalists are Matthews, Laine and Theodore.
    2. Kucherov wins the Art Ross.
    3. TT hits 60 points.
    4. Jonathon Drouin is a major disappointment to his fantasy owners - 40-45 points
    5. Despite Theodore's fantastic year Anaheim misses the playoffs.
    6. Vancouver is bottom 3 again (not a bold prediction, I know) and Benning and Linden get the pinkslips.
    7. OEL flirts with 70 points.
    8. Hellebuyck is the starting goalie for Winnipeg on opening night. Maurice and Chevy realize that they would like to make the playoffs.
    9. The Flames, Jets, Senators and Canadiens make the playoffs. The Oilers come tantalizingly close. The Leafs are respectable. The Canucks are so, so, so bad.
    10. Nashville wins the Stanley Cup.

Don't fear the bold predictions. They are bold for a reason
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Mildly bold: Taylor Hall out scores all of the forwards still playing in Edmonton.

Bold: OEL is the league's point leader amongst defensemen.

Outrageously bold: Datsyuk comes back to NHL after Christmas, and leads whatever team signs him in scoring by season's end.

Can he? Wouldn't the Kovalchuk rule (of all 30 teams needing to agree or something like that) need to occur?
That, or his old contract would need to expire.
