There's not a ton of options from the Bruins. Krug is clearly their go to for points, and it's entirely possible Chara retains a little bit of relevance this season. After that they only have Colin Miller. Best chance to start playing a bigger role, especially after having a solid season last year.

From the ones you mentioned though, I'd look at McAvoy. He has the draft pedigree, and by all accounts looks to have some solid multi-cat years going forward. The lack of depth on the blue line they have right now might lead him to see minutes with the big club sooner than he might otherwise have.

This is between McAvoy and Lauzon for me.. Carlo doesn't seem like a big points guy to me..

Lauzon put up some nice numbers in the QMJHL but I think I am leaning towards McAvoy here!!

McAvoy for me is the easy choice and is easily the closest. Some said he was one of the most NHL ready drafted Dman in this past years draft too.

Why Bruins? I am a Bruins fan and need some depth at Defense, there are a couple of others out there that are comprable but I really wanted to have a Bruin who I can root for day in and day out. So basicaly it is a pick from the heart.I ended up taking McAvoy
