    Default Rookie Left Wingers

Who are some lesser-known players you think will stick with their big clubs this season that can/will play LW? Have a shortage of LW'ers on my deep dynasty team and would like to add a few names to the list of players I'll be keeping an eye on.

Some names I have so far:

Lawson Crouse (not exactly lesser known but holding him on the farm team)
Anthony Beauvillier (long-shot for this year)
    Josh Anderson
Daniel Carr (probably a lock to play in MTL on LW or RW)
Austin Czarnik (could start on the wing)
Pierre-Luc Dubois (also not lesser-known but could start on the wing this season IMO)
    Sven Andrighetto

Unfortunately only a few are natural left-wingers. Having a real hard time finding LW potential-rookies.

He prefers playing right wing, and honestly I haven't been impressed when he's played left wing. Just seems like one of those players who are better when playing their off-wing.

Would love to be able to pick up this caliber of player but unfortunately in my league this type is long-gone.

    32-man roster and 10-man farm team X 20 teams = 840 players already taken.

Frank Vatrano and Josh Leivo are a couple I targeted in a deep dynasty for LW help

Here are some guys who have already been mentioned, but I think deserve having their names repeated:
    Frank Vatrano
    Sven Andrighetto
    Pierre-Luc Dubois

And here is one name new to the thread, but I think worth saying as I believe he'll at least get a taste of the NHL this year (and it seems like people have forgotten about him): Michael Dal Colle

Are you mentioning Dubois because of where some platforms have him as a LW or because you see him as a LW? I know the Blue Jackets see him as their future #1 center, not a LW.

I see him playing wing in the NHL for awhile at least, as many young centres do when they first break in to the bigs (think Galchenyuk) and because I was pretty sure he played the wing while in Cape Breton. Just to make sure I wasn't going crazy, I did some further research, and found that the Screaming Eagles have him listed as a LW on their official roster page from last year.

Gotcha. Just curious on your recommendation there. The Screaming Eagles may have him listed as a LW, but he actually played a good portion of the year last year at center as they were transforming him into that and that's what the Blue Jackets drafted him for.

I also think there will be a chance he starts as a winger in CBJ. Posted about Galchenyuk similarities in another thread. Having only played part of a season as a centre, maybe he'll need to adjust to the NHL before he adjusts to the NHL as a centre.

That's why we can expect him to go back to Jr for the year unless he does something impressive in camp and his 9 games.

They want him to work on being a center.
