Prospects for pick (points only)

First time poster here but long time lurker. I have an offer for my marner for his sixth overall pick. Points only league but goalies are heavily weighted (2 for win plus extra 3 for shutout) I have an extremely young team and am stacked at forward with young stars but weaker in dmen and have no goalies. Team is as follows.

Marner
Nylander W.
Forsberg
Duclair
Fabbri
Soderberg

Pulock
Provorov
Trouba

With no goalies. I also have 7 picks this year including first overall guys like ghost Murray werenski Lindell are all still available. What do you think dobber forums? Is this a deal I should make and give up a possible superstar for a shot at a top goalie?

Welcome to the forums.

I'd keep Marner (especially in a points only format) and use one of your seven picks to get a goalie.

Another option; why not try packaging some of your picks (not the 1st ) to move up in the draft to get a goalie if that is what's important to you.

Agree keep Marner, what other goalies are available besides Murray? I would explore as Axe said and try to package something even a Soderberg plus pick for a goalie. Also be good to know how many teams/keepers is it 10? you are dealing with.

Better one in the hand than two in a bush and there is no guarantee that the player at 6 will be better than Marner long term (there are lots of guys that could be in the NHL next season so contributing sooner)

Jokes aside, to answer the OP and ''kinda '' back up what Sulla and the others are saying, unless you truly know what you can have at number 6, may as well keep Marner and try to land a goalie with one of your own picks.
