Default Which forward do I move?

I'm currently sitting with a pretty high salaried forward group and am looking to move a forward or two to help balance my roster and set up a solid future, especially since I have Huberdeau, T. Johnson and Panarin up for new contracts next year.

I am looking to move one or two of: Hall, Couture, Forsberg, Benn, Schenn, Pacioretty, T. Johnson.

Who helps me the most next year and in 3 years.

    Thanks for the help.

I would move Johnson or Schenn.

Johnson because of the uncertainty of his contract next year.

Schenn because he is a level below all the other guys you have named. (this coming from a Flyers fan, but I would much rather own any of those other forwards instead of him)

I would explore moving Benn. His value is at an all-time high in a cap-league. It will never be higher. It cannot possible be in a cap-league. The longer you hold him the closer it gets to his new contract kicking in and his cap-league value lowering. He is the best player of that group no doubt. Food for thought.

I like this idea actually. You have pretty good forward depth so moving Benn for another potential currently inexpensive D stud and a F or another young G. might be something to look at.

Nothing wrong with Johnson but trading him I see as a lateral type move and one where his value might not be as high as it once was.

Put Benn OTB for a few days and see what shakes out.

That's not a terrible return even in a cap league. By next year you will be very happy with this.
