New 12-Team Dynasty League looking for 2 more owners.

We are starting a new 12 team Dynasty League on Fantrax called The Ice Elite. Ten spots have already been claimed and we need 2 more members to get the league started. When the league is full we will start a 35 round slow draft held on the Fantrax site. It will be a snake draft and the draft order will be randomly generated. The entry fee into this league will be $50 and LeagueSafe is used for funds.

Roster: 30 active, 10 minor leagues

Starters: 4 LW, 4 C, 4 RW, 6 D and 2 G.

Scoring: Goals: 2 points
Assist: 1 point

Goalies:Shutout: 7 points
Win: 1 goal against: 5 points
Win: 2 goals against: 4 points
Win: 3 goals against: 3 points
Win: 4 goals against: 2 points
Win: 5 goals against: 1 point
Loss: 1 goal against: 2 points
Loss: 2 goals against: 1 point
OT Loss: 1 goal against: 3 points
OT Loss: 2 goals against: 2 points
OT Loss: 3 goals against: 1 point

Division: 2 6 team divisions
Schedule: 20 weeks, 82 games, Head-to-Head, playing 4 games per week, 2 weeks are 5 games.
Playoffs: Top 6 teams make the playoffs, 2 division winners get a first round playoff bye.
Playoffs last 3 rounds and each round is 2 weeks long.
Transactions: You can sign as many free agents as needed each week, trading will also be allowed.


There will be a 2 round entry draft each year following the NHL Draft.

This will be a very competitive league. Most of the owners we currently have are from the now out of business Ultimate Fantasy Sports and we brought most of those rules with us and started doing our own thing 2 seasons ago. This is the third fantasy hockey league we have started.

Silly question but how are the four games per week scored? Is it a group of four with highest points getting three wins, second gets two etc

Schedule is random. You play against 4 teams each week and compare point totals. The higher point total between 2 teams gets the win.
