Without them my initial thought is this is your typical quantity for quality. The 4 you listed are solid, but they're no Seguin. Also, what would the Seguin owner have to drop to fit in 3 extra guys?
Trading for Seguin.
I'm in an 11-player keeper league, and I have an abundance of keeper-worthy players.
I was thinking of trading multiple players to an owner for Tyler Seguin upgrading my roster of keepers.
I'd be sending Tyler Johnson, Max Domi, Conor Hellebuyck and Dustin Byfuglien to another owner for Tyler Seguin.
This would mean instead of freezing Buff, I'd be freezing Seguin with no other changes to my keepers. Would you pull the trigger on this deal?

The thing to consider here is... is the other owner going to want to keep Johnson, Domi and Helebuyck?
If he is not able to keep all of them then he will likely not want to trade Seguin for players he has to let return to the player pool. You might have to change your offer to Buff and Perry or something that has two players the other owner wants to keep.

So the trade is essentially a done-deal pending my acceptance.
The other owner inherited a really bad team and is trying to rebuild with her few blue-chippers. She has Seguin, Subban & Lundqvist. The rest is borderline keeper material. So all of the players she's getting from me will be kept and will upgrade her team. Which is why she's willing to do it.
In terms of the league it is multi-category, points for everything (G, A, +/-, Hits, Blocked Shots, SOG, PIM, FOW, FOL the only thing our league doesn't count is giveaways/takeaways as well as TOI - STUPID YAHOO!). So Seguin is a top-five points getter in this league which is why I'm comfortable giving up the amount of good, young players for one really good player.

Surprisingly I gave her the choice of Perry or Domi as well as Kopitar or Johnson and those were the players she chose. She also had the choice of any of the following three defensemen (Shattenkirk, Giordano or Byfuglien) and she picked Big Buff.

I think this deal works for both of you - you give up a lot of 'nothing' and she inherits some pieces that upgrades her in lots of areas

I do this trade in a heartbeat! Always great to consolidate talent in a limited keeper. The fact that you are only giving up one keeper of your own makes this a slam dunk in my opinion

I agree this was the best part on this thread. Really I don't know if I have come across a female manager at all, to my knowledge in fantasy sports.
