Is Reto Berra worth having on my roster?

I would not hesitate to drop Berra. I really cannot see him getting any game action behind the other two. Calgary let him go and they were desperate for a goalie so that says a lot.

Berra had some good starts but terribly inconsistent LY, then got hurt, and dumped. You should dump too. Hammond seems pretty useless too, so Id be stumped which one to ditch. I dumped both of them myself last year.

i dropped berra since he is 3rd string but gonna keep hammond for now since ill get all ottawa starts if i keep him

True, Berra isnt going to see any NHL action for a while, I do think he's better goalie than Hammond though, but both are insignificant.

I was so disappointed to see Hammond lose it last year - surely there are better backups to be had than Ottawa's, thats why I toasted Hammond (for Condon, then he crapped out too) - just hope that Anderson gains form, and that shitOttawa D tightens up (Dion, oh forget it)

I know you've already done it but my advice would have been, and is something I at least try with everyone I am even remotely considering dropping, is throwing up a trade block and list these players as well as maybe a couple others.

You also never know when a G might develop some value at some point with injuries, etc or who might have a man crush on a Reto Berra.

Also as an aside someone like Jan Kovar despite occasional rumors to to the contrary I don't see him coming over to the NHL tbh, Another one is Prokhorkin but either of these 2 might have some cachet with some GM in your year and combined with Berra might return something useful now in a trade while opening a roster spot if it's 2 for 1.

But I know how reluctant you are to trade so this might not be a worthwhile idea.

Anyway, Berra's value is very low because a) he'll be in the AHL, and b) he's not good anyway. However, why do you want to drop him? Look at your roster: Kovar won't make it to the NHL. What do you need players like Vey, Larsen, K.Miller and Lessio for? Who are Nielsen and Golyshev?

I'd drop Kovar. Even one W out of Berra is more than a KHL player can give you.
