Are you sure you don't have any worth keeping? As that is a pretty large hole it leaves you with going into the draft.
3G slots is a little concerning but it's only an 8 team league so there should be plenty of goalies available other than the elite guys. Of course with goalies being 40% of the stats, I would be targeting them early.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

I had realized it was an 8 teamer, but it's still a big hole considering there's a lot more room to cycle goalies. I would probably be looking for 5 starters at minimum if I could manage it.

So you would go heavy on goalies then?
That's a strategy nobody in my league has taken yet, with most owners running with 3 or 4.

I just feel like while I'd likely win the W column each week, and have a good chance at SO, my GAA and SV% would just be gambles.

Well just going down Dobbers top keeper goalie list, it's likely that at least 9, if not more of these 11 goalies will be available through the draft:
    Jones
    Schneider
    Talbot
    Gibson
    Dubnyk
    Murray
    Mrazek
    Bob
    Varlamov
    Andersen
    Allen

I currently own Schneider, but on a struggling NJD team I figure I can draft a couple goalies in the same (maybe slightly lower) tier as him in the 3rd-4th round.

Close to the consensus, but I'm not keeping Eichel, because he's probably 2-3 seasons away from his peak, which is what? 75? 85? 95? But probably 60-65 this year. He's an unknown for points and he doesn't contribute in the "other" categories. Ry Jo has shown he's a 70 point player, maybe 75 with the new comfort level in NSH, plus he hits a lot more than you would expect, and blocks are solid too.
Everyone has already made the arguments for the others.
same for me. Look for RyJo to have a great season in NSH...

If you can get the 5 at a decent price/spot, then I would certainly.
I would probably also keep Schneider over Wheeler.

    My original response was

    Crosby
    Eichel
    Wheeler
    Couture
    Josi
    Weber

But given the goalie situation I think you need to keep Schneider over Couture and target goalies early in the draft.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".
