Default Colorado trade in the works?

So who is Colorado going to trade?

Twitter is all abuzz about the Avs potentially making a move. Names bandied about include Tyson Barrie, Gabriel Landeskog, or Matt Duchene.

I'll take one Landeskog or Duchene in Montreal please.

Would figure the asking price is pretty high though.

Don't talk to me about the old sign & trade manoeuver. Still have nightmares over here about the Hossa/Heatley deal. ;-)

Isn't Stammer still under his old no trade clause anyways?

I was thinking about that. I think the Jets would ideally like to grab a lefty, and someone who's got Trouba's physical/defensive game, but if he's going to be a difficult sign (or if they're afraid of an offer sheet) they may take what they feel is equal value and go from there. I could see Barrie or Duchene for Trouba.

What are you thinking they're looking to do, Axeman? I've heard that they're antsy, but I haven't been keeping up with them much. Who (of value) are they looking to move? Jenner? Johnson? I'm not sure I see how or why they would do much of anything, but again, I haven't been paying much attention to CBJ, apart from their head-scratcher of a #3 pick at the draft.

Probably somone like Savard. I have read that the Av's are high on Atkinson too. Not sure but the Blue Jackets want to drop some cap so they are definitely dance partners with anyone out there.

Sabres could in in there too.

I checked with people close to Landeskog and they don't think he's in play on any trade.

    Barrie or Duchene then?
