Star studded trade offer
Another guy in my league is discussing dealing Kershaw to me.. But he's wanting a kings ransom in return.. The current offer is my Syndergaard and Machado for Kershaw and Trumbo.
No way I'm doing this.. But I could counter and try to attain Ortiz/Edwin/Springer instead of Trumbo. Does this trade help me in any way? Or is it basically just a straight across, even deal?

Machado is pretty damn close to Kershaw, and Trumbo is nowhere close to Syndergaard (Thor). If you grab Springer instead, then you upgrade OF, you go from Machado to a hot Tulo at SS, and you go from Thor to Kershaw. It's a tough trade to make, but if you can work Springer into it then you get the best player, and I take it.

What if I could squeeze Edwin or Ortiz? Better options than Springer id say..

Personally I like Springer over both, and you already have Goldy/Pujols at 1B
