Surely, after his great performance in the playoffs, Couture will NOT be a buy low candidate. If anything, you'll have to pay a premium to get him any time soon.
It depends on the manager anyways. Kicking the tires might have been a better line. Lots of mangers in August/September start projecting players for the upcoming season based on production from the previous season. I've been able to get a few steals that way in the past, playoff success or not. There will be some managers however that see the playoff performance as the norm, and in that case I agree with you, it would be an overpayment.

Well, maybe my list was a bit more of a “Buy-lowER” list. Eichel going into this yr is far less the flavour of the month, and can get him this yr easier than last yr I think.

I like Ryan Strome to have a big bounceback season. Especially and most importantly, if he ends up on Tavares' wing which I believe he will.

Still tons of upside with the youngster.

because he is still in Doughty's shadow and can be had at a bargain draft price, this past season I drafted him Round 12. You can argue Muzzin in my team 1 league scoring as a pick as early as Round 8 depending on draft trends.

I liked the Strome, Pastrnak, Coyle mentions.

    Add Nyquist to the list.

I like some names on your list but it's going to be hard to buy low on Teravainen now that he was traded. It's always hard to buy-low on Nash since usually the guy who owns him paid a hefty price for him.

I feel like Kuznetsov and Tarasenko could be after their lackluster playoff ends....

    Agree with Giroux and Voracek.

    Pacioretty
Parise (Boudreu's system solves everything )

I really don't think you can buy low and Kuz and Tank, no way. They're too young and had such a great year.

I agree with the other 4 name you named.

Giroux and Voracek will bounce back next season. Parise will see a spike despite his age (30 is the new 35 in the NHL) thanks to Boudreau being one of the best regular season coach ever. I think Pacioretty will see a boost in assists next year if he sticks with Galchenyuk, because he will finally play with someone that can score (Desharnais,Plekanec couldn't buy a goal with their whole yearly salary).

Forgot about Turris. Nice pull there.
