They would have definitely preferred Dubois, but it's still a really great pick for an organization lacking an elite defender.

I'd have taken him over Tkachuk in that spot too. They already have Boeser and Virtanen who play similar wing roles to MT but absolutely no one who plays like Juolevi.

He's got top pairing potential and that is a very valuable chip to own.

100% agree with this would of rather had Dubois but Columbus screwed us with their pick. I am however happy we picked Juolevi over Tkachuk who for whatever reason I am weary off. All that being said Dubois would of been funner to talk about this summer then either of those guys.
