Pierre McGuire (dont laugh) said he was talking to an NHL exec who felt EKane was available on the trade market. Wonder if Buffalo has seen what he's all about and decided they've had enough. At some point you have to say it isn't the media blowing things out of proportion. This guy can't keep himself out of controversy.

Is it time to cut ties with this guy? I own him in a multi-cat league and am really getting tired of him. Can't stay healthy, doesn't put up many points. Outstanding shot totals and hits but terrible +/-, ppp... I'm working on a deal right now involving him and Jimmy Vesey (among others).

Am I just panicking and should hold onto him or should I deal him away while I still have a chance to get decent value?

Deal I put on the table is Kane and Tyler Myers for Jimmy Vesey, Nicky Leddy and a 2017 1st round pick. I think Leddy is an upgrade from Myers who had two surgeries this summer and is stuck behind Buff and Trouba for PP time. So it's Vesey and a 1st for Kane. Have a good feeling about Vesey, especially if he ends up playing with Eichel.

Must be something with the "Kane" name. Winnipeg made a smart move (though many already felt that at the time).
