Default Young D - DeAngelo, Pouliot or Lindell

DeAngelo, D. Pouliot and Lindell are all available and I'm looking to scoop 1 of them up. Preferably looking for someone who will play and produce this upcoming year. Thoughts?

My money would be on Lindell with Goligoski's departure from Dallas.

I think Lindell out scores them all this year but don't think he has the best career

Agree with this. Lindell next year. DeAngelo most years past that.

Have to agree with the others who agreed with this. Goligoski's departure opened up a spot for Lindell. DeAngelo is another year away, but will out score Lindell once he arrives.

I agree that there's a lot of agreeing in this thread (too many Canadians?).
It's nice when we can reach a good consensus though.

The wait on DeAngelo will be worth it.

Lindell seems to be the easy choice for next year.

How would you rank these 3 long term?

Does this slide Lindell down to the bottom?

Long term, yeah. I'd want Pouliot > DeAngelo > Lindell

How close would you rank Lindell to them? What about compared to 2016 eligible D?

    Probably like this:

    Pouliot
    DeAngelo
    ...
Lindell (he's not really "the guy")

    Long term:

    Pouliot
    DeAngelo
    Bean
    Juolevi
    Sergachev
    Lindell
    Fabbro

So speculative at this point, though.

lucky for Lindell he does not have to be the "guy" as that Klingberg 23 year old kid already has that sewn up
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
