He's the easy #3 pick out of this draft class.
Does he still deserve to be the #3 pick in dynasty drafts? A lot of red flags around him recently... Your thoughts?

Red flags? More like red herrings. Draft Pulju with confidence this offseason.

What red flags surround this guy? He's a premium pick in this draft. As Sherpa said, draft with confidence.
Easily the pick at #3
Some reports are saying that his shoulder might need surgery. Some other reports are saying that teams weren't impressed with his hockey IQ.
I know that teams interested in the #3 pick might gain from this as it may decrease the value of this pick for CBJ...

Prospects are over-analyzed around this time of the year. How many of the other first round picks have perfect squeaky-clean records? I bet a handful of them need some kind of treatment over the summer.

I heard that this morning on the radio
He's getting surgery but he'll be back in time for training camp. Not a big deal.
And IQ questions haven't been from anywhere reputable. Only places I've see it are on hfboards by posters, and Sam Cosentino's mock draft. Puljujarvi has high end hockey IQ.
Plus Bob McKenzie's published list had 9 of the 10 scouts list him as 3rd, and the other scout had him at 2. Bob McKenzie basically said if CBJ didn't like him, they'd just move back and almost everyone expected him to go at 3. He said it's very clear that the top 3 have separated themselves from the pack.
Puljujarvi's a stud. No worries here

I would argue Puljujarvi > Laine. Just a more complete player whose overall tool-kit is going to serve him very well in the NHL. Puljujarvi is a significantly better skater, more burst and top speed than Laine, despite Laine's elusive skating. I just think Pulju has a better two-way game and can impact the game in any number of ways. His game away from the puck will develop in time because of his immense hockey IQ.
Full blown stud
