I don't see NYI as a fit either with the logjam there, but who knows what Garth Snow thinks. Stranger things have happened.

If I were Calgary I would be looking to trade for Reimer's rights from SJ and get the ball rolling downhill ASAP. Calgary had the worst goaltending in the league last season. They have no goalies signed for their major league roster. Ortio is a sketchy 1B at best. Honestly puzzled why Calgary hasnt been more proactive on Reimer. Leads me to believe there is something in the works for Fleury. I imagine they are looking to consummate a deal for MAF or Bishop and if nothing happens Reimer is the fallback option in free agency.

I think Reimer is the top option for Florida and Montoya is the backup plan. Just my guess.
