That was my thought as well.

I think Nylander falls out of top 10 as well.

I think that qualifies as a dropper.... Small skill guy ranked in mid 20's going mid 50's.. I can see him dropping to the 2nd as well, but early 2nd.

My big dropper would be Shanny dropping the mic promptly after saying Matthews! Ok seriously I'll go with Howden, I think he drops outside round 1

Carter Hart... was the consensus top goalie for a while and pretty well figured to be a 1st round pick...wouldn't be surprised to see him slip to the mid/end of round 2.

Alex DeBrincat -- two 50-goal seasons, but his size will be a detriment.

Wow. This is bold. I have Bean ranked just behind Chychrun, Juolevi and Sergachev -- and slightly ahead of Fabbro / McAvoy.

From my viewings of him I just don't think he has what it takes...mediocre skating ability, can't create for himself, gets frustrated easily against bigger shutdown defenders.

Hate to be "That guy" and deviate from the format of the thread, but I think its a relevant topic - one of the guys to be a surprise climber - Clayton Keller, I think he has a shot to go inside the top 7, not a huge jump, but surpass Nylander and Chychrun for sure.

Mine goes back over a year, but he is ranked so low that I think he'd be worth the chance. Essentially he was touted to go top 3, if not #1 this year, but during the last year+ his stock has plummeted and who knows maybe he won't get drafted at all or go 5th round or later at best, people are currently saying 3rd round which makes some sense from his current year: Sean Day

1st round dropper: Probably A. Nylander as I think Edm, Van, Cgy, Ari, mtl, and col all wants "size" or dmen. So if Buf doesn't take him he could go outside the top 10.

Personally I hope Keller drops to #11 and NJ takes him, so I hope that drop happens.

If all those teams want size, I don't see any of them taking Keller either so you hope could be a reality. He's not the biggest guy in this years draft himself.

Agreed! He reminds me a bit of Jeremy Bracco last year, in fact, if you compare Bracco's entry in last year's prospect guide with DeBrincat's in this year's edition, they have the exact same upside/description. Small guy who gets a lot of points, last year Bracco was ranked around 20th overall (similar to DeBrincat this year) but ended up being drafted at the end of round 2.

Debrincat for me as well - probably to the mid to late 2nd round - for all the reasons stated previously.

Ehh that's not a great comparison.

Bracco is more of a slick playmaker, and Debrincat is an opportunistic sniper. Bracco has high end edgework, and Debrincat's skating is seriously lacking.

Really the only comparison is size...
