I have been trying to acquire this guy for a month!!! The last place team has him (and I mean DEAD last like 10 GB of 2nd last), and I finally tried either Upton/Maybin and Wheeler coming off DL. His pitchers are awful.....

But alas...I cancelled the deal.

See I’m trying to acquire him lol. My teams not bad, but I can’t seem to consitantlly win so I’m looking at next yr already. Did 2 trades to upgrade picks, got a younger Ozuna for Jones (Baltimore), trying to get S.Marte and a couple of young arms for my older guys.

These injuries are a blessing in disguise. Next…Pollock, you’ll be mine.

Some interesting details in that article regarding JD's injury. The main points though are that the injury can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks to fully heal, but the thought line is we see JD in 4-6 weeks at the latest since baseball is not a contact sport (maybe at DH for the first week or so that he is back).

Means he isn't out for the season anyways.

I traded away dee Gordon. I don't think he'll be good when he comes back. He went from a 250/260 hitter to all of a sudden 300 hitter then roids suspension. Don't think he'll be that high hit, SB guy anymore

I agree he's not in the same kind of situation with steroids vs. injuries. He was just another higher profile guy that is out for a good chunk of games.
