Depends on if you're getting 50 game Malkin or 70 game Malkin.
In a multi cat dynasty league excluding FOW / PIM & SHP would it be crazy to trade Tarasenko for Malkin?
I did it because I also own Crosby & Kessel!

Well i dont think there is a 70 game Malkin anymore so I would take Tarasenko here.
It sucks because for the past 5 ish years we've used injuries as an excuse for Malkin.....but he;s now almost past his "prime years".
You're overloading on one team and although all great players a bad night for that team will be disastrous to plus minus. Taraasenko not even 25 Malkin approaching 30, Vlad two consecutive 70 plus point seasons; Malkin, 3 consecutive seasons of declining point totals with a tops of 69 games played in one of those seasons....not a good trade IMO but if you are happy that's all that matters.

Agree with the consensus that it's Tank over Malkin.
And really I would probably still take Tank next year over 70 game Malkin.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Take the Tank. Sure, Malkin is going to provide points when he is in the lineup, but Malkin playing 70+ games has become a hit and miss kind of expectation.

Tank for me as well. When youre dealing with high calibre players, go for the one who will most likely play the full season.
You will get more from Tank and it avoids the pileup of PIT players on your team. Balance my friend!

I'd go Tank here too, considering Malkin's injuries and already having Crosby and Kessel. Never liked having more than 2 high end players from the same team. In some situations I've had 3...but it's usually a pair of upper tier guys on a good team and the other guy would be a D-man I'm using for hits/blocks/etc.
