Default 7th overall - remaining options

I am trying to get some help here on who to pick 7th overall for a 14 team full keeper dynasty league.

    Top 5 Picks were:

    1. Matthews
    2. Laine
    3. Puljujarvi
    4. Tkachuk
    5. Dubois

I think the next Pick is gonna be one of Nylander or Chychrun, leaving me with the next best option... what is that option?

Do i pick a player from this years draft here or do i go with a "leftover"?

Players that i am interested in that are still available:

Jimmy Vesey - what is his upside and his projected 3YP?

Sebastian Aho - very impressed by his development over the last year.

Zach Werenski - his value might never be higher, will it?

Matthew Barzal - highly skilled IMO but will it translate?

Other notable "leftovers" include Kevin Labanc, Daniel Sprong, Brandon Montour, Alex Tuch, Nick Merkley, and Goalies Jon Gillies, Ilya Sorokin or Juuse Saros, but itīs way to early to take a goalie here, isnīt it?
Nikita Zaitsev would be another option.

So, would you guys Pick a Nylander/Chychrun, Keller, Juolevi, or go with one of the aforementioned "leftovers"?

Thank you very much for helping me out here.

if nylander is available, i'd go with him, since when all else is equal, i'll take the forward (I feel like dmen are much easier to find than forwards, especially in multi-cat leagues), and if he's gone, i'd go with werenski. I think his upside is much higher than any one else in this year's draft, or any of the other players u mentioned.

I would personnaly go for Werenski. Awesome defender and not so far from a regular job in the NHL i think. Compare to Nylander who will need some seasoning in the AHL to get stonger.

How can Werenski be a leftover from last year? I would go with him, he's fantastic in the AHL!

    Nylander
    Werenski

Would be how I go about this pick.

But please....sign me up for this league. It's ridiculous that 90% of the prospects you listed are still available

Werenski should be the guy. If he goes at 6, I go with Barzal/Nylander/Juolevi in that order.

I'd have Werenski, Aho, Barzal, Keller, and Montour as my short list, depending on what you're after F or D.

For the forwards, Aho is considerably more certain by the upside is 2nd-line. I'd put Barzal in a similar light. For Keller, the upside is as high as anyone in this draft, just much higher boom/bust potential.

For the D, Werenski seems like the lower-floor higher ceiling pick, though Montour has a great track record of producing quickly at every level he's played at... wouldn't surprise me at all for him to get a shot in Anaheim due to an injury and wrestle away the PP job.

I forgot Aho. I would probably put him right after Werenski.

I'm a Keller fan but the others are more NHL ready.

I've got the sixth pick this year and am all over Werenski if he's still there - which I think he will be.

Take him at that spot and enjoy. The kid isn't even 19 yet and has produced like a #1 defender for the Calder Cup favourites. Unheralded stuff in the AHL.
