My current offer is:
Bishop (#1 goalie in our settings) Kucherov, a 3rd and 8th
for
Stamkos 1st (2nd overall. Laine?) and a 6th
I know im offering a ton but it leaves me with Benn Karlsson Stamkos Jones and Wheeler(or giroux) as my keep 5 and would give me the 2nd 4th and 5th overall picks.
again Im under the assumption that the top 3 would be Matthews, Laine, Puljajaarvi, meaning i also have pick of the current NHL litter at 4 and 5?
good deal? thoughts?

Hm. I feel like Kucherov has risen to Stamkos' level. He's been very good in the playoffs despite being the centre of the defence's attention, and I think he's primed to be a top-8 or so forward for the next decade. Stammer is great, but his numbers are down over the last two years and now he has this medical issue that could haunt him for the rest of his career.
This really boils down to Kuch+Bishop for Stammer+Laine. I'd rather have Kuch+Bishop moving forward, both for next year and beyond.
FWIW, that condition concerns me greatly. Pascal Dupuis' career ended because of blood clots, and it's looking like Chris Bosh could also be done. Tomas Vokoun and Kimmo Tomonen both retired because of them. Anderson Varajao is irrelevant thanks to blood clots. Anyone remember Jed Ortmeyer? He's done because of them as well. Serena Williams had one that put her on the shelf for a year and very nearly ended her career, if not worse.
Long story short, I'm avoiding people like Stamkos or Andrei Vasilevskiy because of it.

That was my main worry. I can't keep 2 goalies and they seem to be priming vasilevski to take over for bishop. Whereas sj is with martin jones and he's also 5 years younger. So I'm not talking much of a hit at goalie in that sense

I'm in a limited keep 6.
I have always liked Stammer and went hard after him a couple seasons ago to no avail. However I would prefer Kucherov especially with him being a winger. Top wingers are more difficult to come by as keepers. Many more centres available without the marquee name that will get the job done.

Since you can only keep one goalie and have decided to trade Bishop - I would offer Bishop and Klingberg in that package. Klingberg was the 5th highest scoring D-man and would probably be an upgrade for your trade partner.
This way you'd utilize one of your extra assets (Bishop) and a player that you would drop (but would be valuable to someone else) to acquire Stamkos + something else.
This way you could keep Kucherov and still get Stamkos.

Another vote to standing pat. Bishop is likely to have another solid season next year, and Kucherov still looks like he'll keep improving. Stamkos has some question marks around him. We've already seen his ceiling, which, given, is very high, but I don't think he'll be able to repeat a 50 goal season. Plus, since there's no indication yet of where he'll be playing next season, so there's no guarantee he'll be in an ideal situation.

No chance I make that deal.
I view Kucherov on par with Stamkos, potentially out scoring him next year, and to give up the top goalie in your format I don't see this helping your team rather taking a big negative hit to it.
