I'd pass on Zadorov in the league in your sig. He has good upside but this year raised some red flags and in a shallow enough league there are better alternatives out there.
Barrie being moved has no impact whatsoever on Zadorov. He'll be fighting just to get back to the NHL.

You think so? He seemed to do well in the AHL but didn't have much success at the nhl level yet. I haven't been able to watch him at all though
I was thinking of adding a prospect D and am shopping Vanek around without much interest as you can imagine

Meh. Not impressed thus far and think he'll have a decent career but not sure it's high end production for a 12 team league.
I can't see the Avs moving Barrie to put Zadorov in his place. Doubtful that would be their answer.
He could be a decent own as a 4th/5th D - but otherwise I'd be looking elsewhere.

Chris Bigras would be far more likely to benefit from Barrie's departure. Even then, I bet they would go find a replacement PPQB.

Agreed. If they move Barrie, I think it'd be with the intention of signing a UFA for less than Barrie will take. At that point, whoever that is would gain some value, especially if Colorado's PP numbers improve over last year's.

I'm an AHL off-ice official in San Antonio, so I saw him a lot this past season. The talent is there; he has the size, the shot, and can skate well. The big knock on him is drive. He does not play with any heart or fire in his belly. He always looks like he's going through the motions. He gets stats out of sheer talent, but if he could turn up the intensity, he could be something. Until I see that, though, I'm avoiding him.
