    Default Trade M. Subban?

Just acquired m. Subban for m. Smith and chlapik (prospect). And have been offered Grimaldi (prospect), Gauthier (prospect), Anderson (G-OTT $6 over 3yr).. With possibly the need to balance out the salary by trading someone like Henrique?

I have Varlamov, Fleury, Gibson, Berra, Demko (prospect), Subban (prospect) so I'm not lacking in net but am wary of trading a talent like Subban (albeit injured) for a bridge goalie like Anderson.

    Any thoughts?

Anyone have any updates on subbans injury status?

I think its a bad move to trade Subban here. You are a solid in net and really don't have a lot of use for Anderson. Subban provides nice stability on your farm. Gauthier doesn't hold much (if any) fantasy value and Grimaldi has a bit of a hill to climb on an improved Panthers squad. Keep Subby.

If you're contending, make the deal. Subban is six years from starting.

No way will he have to wait until he's 28. He has been in the AHL for 3 seasons now and he's doing good. A team in the NHL will give him a shot, it will very likely not be Boston.

Boston is in transition, Rask is quickly approaching 30 and in his prime. Can they possibly get a return for him ? 5 more years at a 7 million cap hit

Subban appears to have the inside track at the backup job assuming his neck is fine...

I think Anderson and the Sens will bounce back nicely next season so I do not think its a bridge so much as further cementing yourself in net. So I would make the deal

    Not sold on Varlamov either
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

Varlamov is shaky on a defenseless team, Fleury now has Murray to worry about, and Berra doesn't have much value with Pickard around. Grimaldi's value takes a hit with the acquisition of McCann; he's a real spark plug but he'll have a tough time making a deep group of forwards. Having Demko and Subban in reserve is solid, whereas you really don't need Anderson. Keep Subban.
