If Andersen were to be traded, where do you rank him?
The only teams i've really heard who are looking for a goalie are Calgary, Toronto, and possibly Carolina. I've also heard people say trading Gibson would be the better move for Anaheim. The worst case scenario for immediate fantasy impact for Andersen would be him ending up on either Carolina or Toronto. The best case scenario would be if Gibson was traded and Andersen was the starter in Anaheim. Where would you rank Andersen if he was to be traded? Top 10? 10-15? 15-20? 20-30?

Yeah I agree with the trading within own conference/division. I see the leafs as the front runners with all the draft picks they have this year. That's if Ducks even trade one of their goalies.

There are some teams in need of a goalie so the 3 that were listed are good candidates, but Andersen is an upgrade over many current starters so I think that if he is made available, more than 3-4 teams would be interested as they could upgrade their current situation (i.e. ARI, DAL, NYI, BUF, VAN, just to name a few). Of course this would mean that these teams would have to move their current starter in order to free up some space and $$, but landing a guy like Andersen could really help a team as he would not be a huge burden on the cap yet provide stellar goaltending...

I think no matter where he goes, as long as he is the full starter he is instantly in the top half of goalies in the league. He is good enough to show that.

His value will vary wildly based on the team in front of him. Impossible to determine now. He could be top-5 fantasy-wise or he could be below-average.

Top 15 provided he is the #1 starter in his new digs, or Gibson gets traded. More likely Andersen goes, but stranger things have happened.

Similar to Carey Price vs. Jaroslav Halak a few years ago. ANA will keep Gibson. Andersen will be traded. Figure at bst a top 15 goalie but more so around #20 is where I would peg him for the future.

If Anaheim traded Gibson, it would be more like the Quick/Bernier scenario. But this is Price/Halak like, at least more alike.
Andersen I think becomes top 10-20 range of goalie.
