Help me pick my last couple keepers

F- McDavid/Eichel/Hall/RNH/Palat/Fabbri/Duclair/DStrome/Rantanen/Pastrnak/Draisatl

D-Werenski/Provorov

G-Hellebuyck

1 spots left for Wennberg/Montour/Morrissey/Maroon/Talbot/JSchultz

I am very thin on D and may not have 1 playing in the NHL next season from my keepers. I will/can address this at the draft with trades or picks. I have 5 picks in the top 23(see sig) of a 100 pick draft.

Who do I keep for my last roster spot?

Your last 2 keepers should be Morrissey & Montour. Nobody else on that list merits a keep especially with your young roster. Morrissey and Montour will also see action next year (Morrissey I think can we likely see for 30+ games).

Considering we don't even know for sure if Hellebuyck is in the NHL next year, I think Talbot has to be one of the other two keepers. Yes, I know, we all love Hellebuyck and his potential, there's no guarantees there. Talbot is a legit #1G.

My other keeper would be Wennberg. He's progressing towards being the #1C in CBJ.

100% Talbot. With that many keepers you are not getting a starter (let alone a decent one) all that easily.

Controversially I would keep Wennberg over RNH on that type of squad (as is look to shoe horn Talbot in)
