Byfuglien or Hedman Keeper?
Yahoo 4 keeper + 2 prospect league. Right now my 4 keepers for next year are Pavelski, Burns, Byfuglien, Bishop, Kucherov (Prospect) and Ehlers (Prospect). I also have Hedman who's current production in the playoffs is amazing. Just trying to decide whether to keep Byfuglien or Hedman for next season.

G, A, PPP, SOG, PIMS, HITS, BLKS, W, GAA, SAVES

Hey Christian,
Hate to derail your question, but have you given thought to keeping both Hedman and Buff and then re-drafting goalies?
How many teams is the league? What is your draft situation? Are most goalies being kept?
How many goalies do you start each night? Is there a GP min?
Just giving you maybe something else to think about here.
It appears you have 10 total categories and 70% of them are geared on skaters.

How big is your league and how many do you start at each position?
My initial reaction is to keep Byfuglien and cut Hedman with those categories without question but I always like to have all the details on your league before saying anything for sure.
As weird as it sounds, Hedman is getting the ice time he is because Stralman is out with an injury. If Stralman was there, it's hard to say how good Hedman would look and what his production would look like.

I would hold onto Byfuglien here. His hits and PIMS just make him more valuable in your setup. Plus, they'll probably end up pretty close in points, with Buff likely having more goals, and he sees more power play time and therefore PPP.

I would hold onto Buff as well. Just more production across categories.
Also, countering Shake's point about cutting Bish. I would definitely keep Bishop over Hedman, even with the category split as it is.
I'm assuming it is not less than a 10 team league (Seems about right given the range of Christian's keepers) and as such, you have to think that Bishop would be in the top 40 ranked, with Hedman likely being on the outside.

Thanks everyone for the replies! Its a standard H2H 14 team keeper league so Im assuming quite a few teams will be keeping goalies for next season. We start 2 at each forward position, 4 D and 2 Goalies every night

Ok thanks. Then yes, I would keep Bishop given the size of league, and 2G starts every night. I would keep Buff over Hedman. I like his production across the board better.
