Oscar Lindberg out 6 months

Oscar Lindberg has undergone simultaneous bilateral hip labral surgery.

Lindberg is expected to miss the next six months as a result, which means he'll probably miss at least the first month of the 2016-17 campaign. He had 13 goals and 28 points in 68 games in his rookie campaign.

Third line guy for the Rangers. Had a hot start and scored a bunch of goals (some had him as a rookie of the year candidate 20 games in), but then his totals plateaued for the second half of the season. I don't see him topping 40 points in a full season the next two years. Past that, maybe he gets 45. 50 would take a lot of good bounces.

I agree with eskimo brother - typical ranger depth fwd who can get hot/cold and has potential for 35-45 points
