Keep 6 - 12 Team keeper league

Because I dont like keeping Dmen in a limited keeper unless they are something special. Giordano is a solid Dman but in a keep five, I'd rather retain the forwards and redraft the Dmen.

Even in a '6 F 3 D 1 G starting lineup head to head" league? (Just trying to learn here. LOL). Why? Aren't scoring D going to be hard to come by in this set up? Isn't the drop off going to be very steep on D and more gradual for F?

BTW barely anyone keeps goalies for some reason so probably wont keep bishop

Really, in a 12-team keeper? Does the scoring lean heavy on the skater cats?

Hard to say because I don't know how teams in his league value certain players. He's already said his league doesn't value goalies much which I find strange as it is so if they don't value goalies greatly, I dont see them valuing Dmen either but again, just a guess.

If it's Karlsson, Letang or Burns (or as I have chosen, OEL), sure I'd consider keeping them but someone like Giordano is a 32 year old Dman who just had his first 50+ point season this past year. That's a good thing, but not enough to tempt me to keep him in a limited keeper.

As I say, I am just not big on keeping Dmen in limited keepers. It's just my thing I guess.

I'm not sure why goalies aren't valued as much but it's just the way it has been. The only thing with Bishop is that he only plays max 2 games in a row because of vasilevskiy. I'm leaning towards keeping Benn, Hall, Galchenyuk, OEL, Larkin and Draisaitl. I'm just a bit weary of Larkin and Draisaitl.

Agree with both Axe and Moses. Only reason I'd rather keep Gio over Larkin is the start 6F 3D. Puts more value onto high end d-men. Plus it alleviates the need to redraft a dman in the 4th/5th round. I feel like a Larkin-esque player will definitely still be there. Same reasoning as keeping Bishop really. Let everyone else use a pick there and just keep drafting forwards. I feel like out of those players there's just more depth at D scoring wise than at F.

Just because other teams don't keep goalies doesn't mean you shouldn't. Keep one of the stronger ones in Bishop then you don't have to worry about redrafting one early on (like the others will focus on because they didn't keep one).

Completely agree with Axe here. That was my first thought - why does it matter what people usually do? A situation like that often creates an opportunity.

I understand if it was holtby and price but bishop I'm kind of worried about because of his backup.
