    Default Krug out 6 months

Torey Krug has had successful surgery on his right shoulder.
He is projected to require six months of recovery time. There's a chance that Krug won't be available for the start of next season, but we will keep you posted on his status.

offensive D with surgery to his shoulder? definitely avoiding him for next season.

this all but ensures boston trades for a D...Shattenkirk?

I wouldn't call it a guarantee, but ya, with an aging Chara and an injured Krug, the B's blueline will most likely require an offensive addition. Miller will get a good chance to shine, but there's just so much 1 guy can do...

Boston needs to trade for a D after trading away a couple of their D (Hamilton and Boychuk). The irony of it all.

This is exactly what I was going to post. I hope they don't look at him as THE answer, but he's definitely a good puzzle piece to getting the D solidified.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

Yandle would be a good fit for them, but he's not a top pairing guy, that's their #1 need right now.

Sure they need a #1 pair D-men, but we are talking about replacing Torey Krug.

Keith Yandle is a Bay Stater and UFA to boot. He will be in a Bruins uniform next season. Book it.
