Offense isn't necessarily his game. I don't see him being higher than #3 for a team offensively, which would cap him out around 40 points on a real good offensive club and unlikely to get there.
Hi guys,
I gotta say, he has been a bit of a disappointment this year... 10 points in 70 games? Does he have what it takes to be a 40 points defenseman in the near future? What do you project the next 3 years will look like?
Trying to assess whether I should try to move him as the name recognition is still high or if I should hold on and hope for the best.
Thanks!

Next season I would say you're probably looking in the 25-30 range. I agree with metaldude in saying that 40 is probably his cap though. Like Doughty, he will be a better real life defenceman than fantasy.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I moved him out this past season after watching him a fair bit. To me, it's the style of game he plays that will dictate where he fits in to the Oilers' roster. I think if he does break 40, it will be the exception rather than the rule and I get the feeling he'll turn into a 30-35 guy who has good peripherals for a multi-cat league. Just my take.

I would not want to own him in a league based around offense.

I see him as a pretty consistent 35-40 point guy once he gets settled into his role with the team. Nothing wrong with that.
He's not really a big offensive guy but he should still get some decent opportunities along the way.

Too early to tell his upside but if he becomes a solid fantasy own (for pts at least) it will take a few years. I saw some solid rushes and a few nice plays here and there but I wouldn't say he created offense on a consistent basis.
