Ive never seen him play, is this guy worth anything? What kind of upside? Is he going to be a fulltime NHLer?

Assuming this would be as a keeper option for you at this point in the season, in your league he is not worth discussing. Maybe in a couple of years or if your D wasn't as solid.
Especially with Krug around, probably no higher than 35-40 point upside, with 35 as a likely max for next season.
