Top 7 would be Stammer, Tarasenko, Voracek, Karlsson, OEL, Josi, Rask.
Josi and Voracek are at the bottom of that pile, and as a huge Josi fan it is tough for me to cut him. I would personally cut Voracek, but I think the right answer might be Josi since you already have Karlsson and OEL

I bolded my 5 locks for you.
The final spot is between OEL and Voracek for me. Depending on your league, whoever holds more trading value is who i'd keep

Realized I forgot to list Backstrom. Makes my initial rant redundant, and would leave you with Stammer, Tank, Backstrom, Karlsson, OEL, Rask.

So you guys still think Rask is a worthy keeper over some of the other guys? My initial thinking was….

Backstrom, Stamkos, Karlsson, Tarasenko, OEL, and then 1 of Voracek, ROR, Couture, or Josi. ROR with the FW and his positional stats put up pretty much the same point values as Voracek, but with FW.

Obviously trades can happen, and I have tons of time to think about it.

Trades are your friend here with so many options. Voracek, Josi, ROR and Couture could all be good keepers for other teams.

I would be keeping Rask unless I think there are enough goalie options at the draft that it won't be a weakness next year.

listen to E B - trades are your friend - you can do some 2-1 trades for upgrades. Find a team with weak keepers and see if you can get an upgrade from them. Try and upgrade assets. You only keep 6 so the rest is fodder. I would try and get a goalie upgrade, but I would keep Rask if there is no options i.e Rask & OEL for ?? - that way you get to keep Josi

Trade upgrades aside. I think you have to keep Rask. I am really curious on Andersen though. Will he be traded? Can he be the number 1 long term? It sucks but you just can't keep him because it forces you to grab Gibson early. So my keepers are much like the rest.

I am for the opinion that if you can make a 2-1 trade then go for it. If not then IMO you go with Voracek as your #6. Really good PHI PP in which he should be a big part of.

I would package Rask and Josi and peddle that as a 2-for-1 deal for a better G keeper.

Thanks guys. Seems like the top 5 (Back, Stamkos, Tarasenko, Karlsson, Rask) are the locks, and there’s some split between Josi, OEL, and Voracek.

Kinda sucks keeping 2 Centers, but I’m a massive Stamkos fan so I don’t want to trade him, and Backstrom’s perceived value is just way too low to trade away. I have some soul searching to do before September.

Fortunately you have plenty of time to mull it all over. Relax, you have almost the best possible combo of keepers in your format. Events to come at the draft and free agency will bring things into focus and make your decision easier.

Those are your top 5 as others have said. For number 6, it's a toss-up for me:

Voracek (I think he will be draftable with more ease considering this season's output. He is not a ppg player but 70 in a full season is very reachable)
Josi (great all-around d-man and has a point output that places him in the 2nd d-men tier IMO)
OEL (same as Josi but with a higher ceiling; only problem is that you count +/- and OEL is usually brutal in that cat but did improve greatly this year)

I would probably roll with OEL here but Josi is deffinitely the safer pick. As for Voracek, he should be easier to redraft should you still want him on your team.
