Tarasenko and Toffoli were taken in the same draft. 21 picks between them.
Connor was drafted a year before Laine.
And you can't even compare Connor's style of play to Laine but you can definetely compare Toffoli to Tarasenko (two pure-shooter, Tarasenko being elite).
I'm not making a case for Connor her though.

..just my two cents. But the first two guys have been ranked that high by professional scouts for a reason. Drouin has shown what he can do lately and Laine is said to be a scoring machine.
Connor on the other hand is a good prospect who seems to have developped ideally. But he doesn't have the same raw talent imo. He's simply been hyped a lot the last few weeks. We've seen this a lot before....
