Re: Archer/Ortiz/Frazier for Stanton/Davis/Sano
I like the offensive upgrade for you, and am less concerned about losing Archer and Chapman. In an 8-team league with only 8 pitchers per roster, there will be plenty of opportunity to identify a breakout star or a bounceback year from the waiver wire. There always seems to be a substantial group of pitchers each year who come out of nowhere and have great numbers. It's a much smaller group that comes out of obscurity to deliver top end production as a hitter.
The relief pitching world is probably the MOST fluid in terms of performance, and I am certain that you'll be able to pick up a closer for a top 10 MLB team following an injury or blown save by the incumbent.
10-Team, Custom Keeper. In this league GMs sign their own contracts at an auction for a specified price and term up to 4 years.
