Default Manziel and Gordon form Pact of Doom

It's better than fiction, something that could have only come from the mind of agent Drew Rosenhaus:

Johnny Party lives with Josh Gordon, the oft-suspended drug fiend WR of the Cleveland Browns. They are sharing a house in Los Angeles, which is exactly the place I would want to stash these two toxic timebombs, since it's a low-key town where there isn't a lot of paparazzi and there isn't much partying or ganga readily available there.

And right on the heels of the announcement of their domestic arrangement:

Just heard Gordon may have "failed" a urine test found to be diluted with marijuana. I'd love to know what the eff they're lacing marijuana w/now days that makes it so freaking irresistible to these players. The shit back in my day was never so fanatical.

    Oh so I heard...

Its probably used based on headaches, and lifestyle based off that because they get used to it and it's culture?

Honestly tho, Gordon needs to be playing. He is one of the most dynamic players in the league. Why aren't the Browns having a body guard on this guy 24/7, get him in the league, play him, and then trade him.

Also, these guys have to be hurting every day, sore knees and joints all the time. They probably wanna smoke instead of pop pills, which is better for their healthy but worse for their career. Tell me how that's fair.

Why isn’t his agent doing it then?

I really want to see this guy play again. The worse thing is the CFL has the Ricky Williams rule now where if he’s suspended in the NFL the CFL won’t take him. All I’d want to see is him light it up somewhere.

Argh, this guy is just so dumb.
October 2010 (he’s only 19yrs old), found asleep (passed out by alcohol) outside of a Taco Bell with teammate Jefferson. Police found weed in Jefferson’s car. Jefferson was kicked off Baylor (2nd offense), Gordon was suspended.

July 2011. Gordon was suspended by the head coach of Baylor for failing a drug test (weed)

August 2011, Gordon transferred from Baylor to Utah. Sat out the whole 2011 season because he declared too late for the 2011 Supplemental Draft.

June 2013, suspended 2 games for failing an NFL drug test

August 2014, suspended 1 yr for a failed drug test. Was reduced to 10games in September because the drug policy changed.

    September 2014, arrested for DUI.

December 2014, Browns suspended Gordon for final 2 games for violating team rules (missed practice I think). Making ineligible for burning a yr off his contract. Can’t go to free agency.

January 2015, faces another yr long suspension for testing positive for alcohol use back in September. Official suspension was from February 2015-February 2016.

January 2016, Gordon applied to the league for reinstatement.

March 2016, failed drug test. The weed in the urine sample was low enough to pass, but they found it was diluted somehow which is an auto-fail.

He’s just so dumb! So dumb, but so talented I want him in the NFL.

Gordon has 2-3 months to keep his act clean....we'll see how that goes.

This recent failed drug test is not a guarantee that he will be further suspended by the NFL. Well done NFL...well...done

Hope nobody who stashed him suddenly knee jerk dropped him when they read about the recent failed drug test. At this point we know to expect the worst from this kid, but if he is on your roster it is still worth staying patient a little while longer.

It's not fair. Certainly not while Greg hardy is still allowed to play.

Now there’s an investigation on leaking info from the NFL. Gordon’s life has become a circus over this now.

    This is fun to read...

What sort of moron rents a house to Johnny Manziel? You must know what is going to happen and its not good.

House doesn't look "trashed" its just in need of cleaning, and there are some naughty items left laying around.

Not to go an an altruistic rant (cuz I'm not) but Goodell's paternalistic morality parade with regard to Gordon's off-field marijuana use is bogus. He bans Gordon for one year. Gordon remained non-compliant during said ban. So Goodell gives him yet another shot at reinstatement within less time than the original ban? If Gordon were a 2nd string offensive lineman he'd be an afterthought by now. But Gordon sells tickets so...

The league has much bigger problems than off-field pot smoking. Like say for an example, the Patriots squeezing Danny Amendola to re-negotiate a valid contract in an attempt to get him to restructure it for less coin. They'll wait until the FA market dries up and rosters are set then threaten to cut him. Jobless, he'll be forced to retire or take a pay cut. NFL roster cuts should be mandatory prior to FA enabling all players an equal opportunity on the open market. This Amendola issue is b.s.

Meanwhile, Robert Kraft buys yet another helicopter in celebration of being concussion-free for yet another NFL season.

    lol...this was funny

Pictures obtained by Page Six show lines of suspicious white powder on a table, and an open bag of what is claimed to be magic mushrooms.
Suspicious...??? Who doesn't use sea salt while sauteing their mushrooms?

...in other wholly unrelated news, Josh Gordon's eligibility date for reinstatement was pushed back to September.

I’ve woken up to my house trashed more than that. But no sugar everywhere.
