Did the players and $ values get released yet??

I'm hoping guys like Oshie, Williams, Schenn, Hertl, Hemsky can be found in the bargain bins.....

Saturday Games (4):

NYR @ PIT (Game 2). We'll see if either Lundqvist or Zatkoff get a start in this game. Several of the highest scoring entries from night #1 patiently got Zatkoff into their line-up and saved coin on other skaters.
PHI @ WAS (Game 2). I wonder how many teams will be stacking the WAS duo into their line-up.
MIN @ DAL (Game 2). If there's one team that will be slimly picked... it's got to be the Parise-less WILD. There's a ballsy pick.
SJ @ LA (Game 2). Tough match... SJ's players are boom or bust. And LA's defense tends to tighten up for playoffs... though SJ opened in a previous playoffs with 3 big opening games vs. LA...

It will get into the TRUE strategy of mass-pool gambling.
The masses will flock to Crosby-Hornqvist... because that worked. (FWIW, it was Hornqvist, not Kunitz, that got the 5th spot on PP1. I was wrong on Kunitz there.)
I'm not sure I like being in with the masses (say 60%+ roster those two) because it limits odds of moving on.
I'll probably actually pull PIT players from my line-up and hope NYR can shut PIT down.

I'm probably also staying away from Dallas.
It's not good to be a new #1 seed... too much pressure... and the WILD will play even more of a lock-down defensive style if Parise is out.
They'll fight to win that game in a low-scoring tilt.

Hopefully the masses stack PIT... because I think I'm going to have to go hard on WAS.
PHI's defense just stinks - they'll be way overmatched by WAS.

I'd love to go hard on WAS-SJ players, but the key guys will all be expensive.

I think most people will bail on the Rangers... so I may go with them for skaters... load up on Stepan (C) - Zucc (W) - Kreider (W) - Boyle (D, save some cash).
NYR did get 37 shots on Pittsburgh... that's a good sign.

I'd like to go after WAS players... but not sure if it'll be 1st liners or 2nd liners.
Oh, a few days to sort that out though...

So, it's telling me that I advanced (even though my team was abysmal), but I see no way to modify my lineup for today.

Has it just not rolled forward to today yet? (Hopefully I'm not sounding like a blonde here.)

I think they only release a contest ONE day in advance.
The next phase of the contest will be for Saturday Night games (Playoff Day #4)...
So it possibly won't be available until tomorrow, Friday.

You may have noticed that the only players who could be selected were on teams who played last night. Since according to Peng the next one will be this coming Saturday, I'm going to assume that the players that can be selected for that will be from the teams playing that day.

The Yahoo! champions league is three phases.
We pick players for

Playoff Day #1 (the Wednesday just gone by)
Playoff Day #4 (Saturday night)
Playoff Day #8 (Tuesday night coming)

They basically have a phase... need to identify the qualifiers, ensure no statistical changes, set-up the invites to move on...
That's why there is two days in between.

I still don't have notice for tomorrow (Saturday's) contest... but I'd guess it will be available to us qualifiers sometime later today.

According to this from the Yahoo Rules, I think we're looking at the games on 4/18 & 4/21.

They definitely changed those recently.
It was supposed to be Day1, Day4, and Day8 of NHL Playoffs first round... and still mentions that in a few places in the rules.
They probably realized that some people were going to miss the Day4-Saturday set with there being some "day games".
Like the Tax-Extension to April 18th, Yahoo! probably realized it might be smarter to delay the next contest until a day of "night games only" - which is Monday, then 3 days later is Thursday.
