It's interesting to see very little love for Giroux. His overall point totals have dropped for 3 straight years, do people think that's a sign of things to come?
Kane has never scored 100 points before. In fact his best was 88 points in 2009-10. Other than that he scored:
2007-08 - 72 pts
2008-09 - 70 pts
2009-10 - 88 pts
2010-11 - 73 pts
2011-12 - 66 pts
2012-13 - 55 pts (lockout year)
2013-14 - 69 pts
2014-15 - 64 pts
2015-16 - 104 pts (so far)
Poolies will surely over-value him next year but I expect him to fall back to earth and score between 65-70 pts.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
because this person is asking abouit STANDARD scoring categories I would put G in the 2nd round prob 11th overall. If the categories are like my Team 1 in sig than he is still without a doubt first round material. In standard the decline in points forces your hand as well as fact he will be 29 in Jan. 2017. I have drafted G round 1 for 5 straight years and am his biggest advocate; look up consistency in the dictionary and there his orange bearded face shall be. He is a faceoff god, he shoots he can score 25G and put up 45 A. As he ages his points will drop but I think he can still have one more elite year in certain category scoring leagues but because he is not gifted as far as his physique he will more than likely drop off points wise but his elite brain shall never leave him and he will still provide at least 60 plus through his mid thirties and be a PP behemoth. As far as the person who posted the Kane point totals you are right this season is an anomaly BUT one must also consider two things he had this season and going forward he never had before....1) a perfect complimentary winger he has immense chemistry with and 2) a competent center who shall always defer to the wingers in the offensive zone and go to where he knows he needs to be...front of the net. Those two things have played an immense role in Kane's rise to fantasy throne and it is completely sustainable through peak of his physical prime which has only recently begun.
