9 games with the Panthers and okayish numbers in Portland. anyone follow this guy much and can tell me if he's worth holding onto?

Based solely on numbers (never actually watched him play) I would say he's not a 2nd line player. More bottom 6 and will have to adjust to a checking role to iron out a future in the NHL.

You don't need PIMs to be an efficient checking line player. Overall for fantasy, I think there are far better/safer bets on players who have had better outputs in Junior/College/Minors than Rau.

agreed. was just thinking of his longer term roto value. if a player isnt going to bring points then he better bring it in other places. thanks for the feedback. i never watch panthers so dont know much about their players

Kyle has looked good when he was up. He has good chemistry with Bjugstad which will come in handy. I think he will become a decent 3rd liner.
Commish of UNFFHL, dangered species being the sole Panthers fan on Dobber.
