Got some good returns this year? I got Kuz for Hudler, streit and a a late pick.I also got Seguin for Ryjo and a 14th overall pick. Both from the same guy..probly we switched spots from 1st to 3rd last.

in my 30 team cap league I traded bob and bibeau for dubnyk and ortio, not a landslide by any means but i'm pretty happy about that.

Last offseason I traded Pekka Rinne to a guy who felt he was a goalie away from contending for this years title. In return I received that GMs 1^st round pick in this coming draft. Rinne’s poor play ended up being the main reason the guy missed playoffs and he would then go on to win our draft lottery – landing me Auston Matthews.

Rinne for a 1^st rounder looked good for him at the time. But Rinne for Matthews looks much better for me now.

For the league described in the signature below, I snagged Jagr in the pre-season for a 3rd rd entry draft pick (which turned out to be Travis Dermott). I later flipped Jagr at the deadline but Jagr earned me 50-odd points. For the cost of a low draft pick, this kind of return is unheard of in this pool.

Traded away Duclair, Maatta, Lehtonen and a late pick

Voracek and Cammalleri (sucks that he got injured right after, but he should be a 50pt guy next year, maybe more)

Panarin, Klingberg, and random (can’t remember who) for Tarasenko, Giordano, and Couture. I got Tarasenko. So now my keepers are Backstrom, Stamkos, Karlsson, and Tarasenko, then a pick of 2 between Couture, Gio, Josi, OEL, Voracek, ROR, Rask, Andersen, and Carter. Then next yr I can trade the rest (who are all in their own right a possible keeper for teams) for picks to go with the picks I traded for during the season.

If I really wanna go rogue with keepers I have Marner, Nylander, and Fabbri to choose from too

My two big trades that pushed me to the top were,

My Nyquist for his Perry. This one was a huge buy low while the Ducks were terrible.

My Bjusgstad and Yakupov for his Kessel. This one was while Yakupov was with McD.

I got Tavares and a third rounder in 2017 for MacKinnon, Andersen and my first rounder in 2017. Close but I got the best player.

Probably my best move was the trade I didn't make. Had lots of interest in Scheifele, even had one GM say he wouldn't break 35 points, but held my ground, and am loving it right now.
