B Hamilton for Miller? REP Given

Got offer Miller (RP from Yankees) for Billy Hamilton. I need a closer with Chapman out for awhile. Is this deal worth it for me?

First off, may want to check your signature, it only shows a hockey league. Makes it a little tough to delve too deeply into it. I can re-look at it if you post some more information. I would love to see the rest of your roster and scoring cats.

On the surface of the deal though, if you feel you have OF depth enough, then I would do it, Miller is a great Handcuff to have, and may even hold some 9th inning responsibilities once Chapman returns. Hamilton really only gets SBs for you, so if you can live without that category bump, it's a win.

Im on the same page with you. I don't think Hamilton will do much but steal bases. Though my OF isn't too deep, there are decent options on the waiver wire.

I think your best option may be to make the deal and then drop Park as you have four first basemen. Just as long as you feel there's a decent option on the waiver wire for OF to replace him with.

Best OF's include B Burns, Fowler, Peterson, Grichuk, Holliday, Reddick... I like Grichuk maybe the best

its an 8 team league which is why my roster maybe looks a little more stacked than most would haha.

That makes sense, and also means there are plenty of options on the waiver wire. No doubt in my mind now that it's the right move to make
