The Penguins announced Fleury did not travel with the team to New York, and is dealing with a concussion. Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette added there is no timeframe for his return.

Crap. If this had been posted yesterday, I could dismiss it as an April Fools joke.
RETIRED
Well, just burned my last transaction of the season picking up Murray (again). I suppose this qualifies as an emergency though.
RETIRED
Not necessarily. Murray is a beast and he played enough pro games, so he's not just a young prospect without experience. I would feel a lot better with Fleury in net, but i also trust Murray.
The only thing that scares me a little bit is the fact, that young goalies tend to struggle once they have the pressure of being the starter.
I think the Penguins are done only if Malkin comes back. They are just better when one of Crosby or Malkin are out.
Impressive game by Murray, if he keeps that up, nobody will miss Fleury. I'm still very confident, haven't seen such a good rebound control by a young goalie for a while.
I've got Murray, and I'm in championship week!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fleury could be back tomorrow against the Flyers or at least for the first play-off game. Nothing confirmed yet, but it looks like he's close
Following Dennis' update, thought I'd share a link of one source mentioning it. An excerpt as well:
http://triblive.com/sports/-topstori...bennett-fleuryWhen asked specifically if the Penguins could get Fleury, who last played on March 31, into the lineup for Saturday's season finale against Philadelphia, the coach offered an intriguing answer.
“It is a possibility? Yes,” Sullivan said. “It is a probability? Probably not.
“In a perfect world, would we like to get him in a game? Sure we would. But that's not always possible. We know Marc is making progress, and that's a positive sign. That's encouraging from our standpoint.”
Veteran Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury practiced with the Penguins Monday for the first time since suffering his second concussion of the season.
Rookie goalie Matthew Murray suffered an upper-body injury late in the first period of Pittsburgh's 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, so the Pens clearly hope Fleury is ready to play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the New York Rangers on Wednesday night. Pittsburgh recalled goalie Tristan Jarry from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL on Sunday, but Fleury could play for the first time since March 31. "I skated by myself the past few days, so it was good to get out there with the guys," Fleury said. "It's never easy to watch them … Just [taking it] one day at a time. It was my first practice." Fleury won eight of his final nine starts before sustaining a concussion during a Pittsburgh win over the Nashville Predators. He had given up three goals or fewer in six of his last seven starts.

It's very likely that Fleury will play tonight. Having Zatkoff in net would cause nightmares.
