I am hopeful as well, there having been a small risk to get him in the draft. Having stocked up on RP myself, I am impatiently waiting for him to get SP eligibility as well.

Ya I needed the Ks so I benched a save with Madson today!

    Still happy with the recovery.

    Pick your poison, right?
It's a tough call sometimes on who to sit, and it never seems to be the right one. If you needed Ks though, you made the right call.

Had a perfect game until the 3rd or 4th I think. He was cruising. I think he’ll have fatigue issues tho. Watching him live yesterday shows he’s still working his RP style of pitching. He was absolutely mowing them down, and then all of a sudden bam. Brewers were smacking it. Would be interesting to see some of his sliders yesterday from the 4th on. Maybe he was letting them hang a bit.

He has Arizona next in Arizona. Averaging 4runs/game, 8.6hits/game, I’m not sure I play him on his next start.

For those who didn’t know, you cans see who’s position eligibility is about to change by going under “players” and “position eligibility”. It’s a useful tool to grab someone who may be more valuable at a certain position before he gets it.

I was about to say the same thing, unless you're looking at your H2H matchup and really need Ks and maybe to take the risk for a W.

As I said in my last post, I happen to have some catching up to do in Ks and Wins, so I'll be risking the start. Fingers crossed!

I'm starting him, but only because the person i'm facing has an era of 9, and i'm at low 3s, so he can't inflate my era that much

Well, 5 innings, 4Ks and 2 runs. Serviceable enough of a start, though the four walks are really what did him and his pitch count in. And it could have been worse against Arizona as the bullpen proved.

Drop Nicasio to bring Berrios off NA???

Other options are Cecil, Seager, Suarez. I will likely drop Cecil anyway but we count holds and he is my only set up guy right now while owning Madson, Familia, Jeffress and Chapman (only 4 spots for RP)

Why not wait to see how Berrios does? The Indians have beat up some teams recently. 4.5runs/game in the last 8 games.

If you want him in the lineup tho, Nicasio is the guy I’d drop.

Unfortunately I agree with you. Was really hoping he was more that just a flash in the Spring training pan.
